About
Emanuel Riegelbauer is a sustainability and decarbonisation consultant focused on the built environment, real estate, and building performance. He specialises in data-driven decarbonisation studies and roadmaps, integrated photovoltaic delivery from concept through procurement to implementation, and building- and district-scale energy strategies.
His work combines analytical depth with a practical delivery focus — from energy and carbon modelling through option appraisal and target setting to coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces that carry performance intent into built outcomes.

Developing interests
Alongside consulting delivery, I build Python-based tools that turn manual, Excel-driven workflows into tested, repeatable pipelines — calculation engines for stranding risk and decarbonisation sequencing, automated certification reporting, and internal dashboards that surface data quality issues before they reach a client deliverable. The aim isn't automation for its own sake — it's staying close to the physics and complexity of existing buildings while cutting the manual friction that slows good analysis down.
